Slartisfgh is never mentioned in The Bible, but it is here, during one of the early battles, that Matthew spontaneously became liquid. Radiation trace: negligible

- Ben winning the Civil War - Ben and the pine weasels - Garland’s emotional reunion with his family after being “abducted” - Pete, chess genius - Ed and Norma - Super-Nadine (I always remembered this as a symptom of how dumb S2 got and it for sure is but holy shit it’s hilarious especially when she and Mike check in at the Great Northern) - Garland and the Log Lady showing Coop their eerie tattoos
- Gordon flirting with Shelley / Coop flirting with Annie / Double R scene
- Creepy hand tremors in the lead up to the finale - “the possibility that love is not enough” - the way the Coop/Annie romance progresses with dread woven into it
coop/annie at the diner is usually followed with cole/shelly at the diner and thats where all the charm is

The Coop/Annie romance is whatever but I do enjoy when the dread-inducing music creeps in, or the scene with the slow zoom out and the dishes breaking, or the giant trying to frantically warn Coop off.
The giant appearing and Bob’s hand extending out of empty space at the end of that same episode are some of the best non-Lynch lodge moments.
i just looked at that horrific list again and there at the very bottom we have nadine and ABOVE NADINE is evelyn marsh

I don't buy the over-arching interpretation as being more than at best partial, but I found it to be insightful enough to warrant a viewing if you're interested...
Has anyone watched through this whole thing? I want to know if it's legit before i invest 4.5 hours.
lol yes, the guy is charming and the video is fun, but it's not really presenting any groundbreaking theories. he does a nice job connecting things, and I don't think it takes too much away from the mystique if you're worried it'll make you think about TP differently. it does a get a little too reddity / dugpa-y at points, but overall worth a watch.
Yeah. I believe he believes his explanation and some of it is fun speculation/unpacking of symbolism but there are soooo many goofy leaps that his reasoning is more akin to conspiracy theory logic, leaving aside considerations of what attracted viewers back in s1 beyond the central mystery, etc. But, I'm all for it even if he's not that convincing (although yes, 4.5 hours is dumb as hell).
I surprised myself by watching the whole thing and enjoying it. I like the guy's theory for maybe the inverse of what forest design doesn't care for--I found it a satisfactory ur-explanation that could also accommodate pockets of more discrete interests and interpretations within it.
my gf watched some of the Twin Perfect vid w me and it convinced her to finally give the series a full watch, even if she found lots of his theorizing very silly
i can't deal with youtube explained videos they're always over long and vague and provide little new info and don't explain anything

Whether or not that video’s theories are “correct”, it helped me appreciate that there’s a consistent symbology throughout the series that Lynch stays true to, and now on rewatches I see more every time

Ha my wife had the same response. Even bought me the Z-A box set this Xmas I think so we could watch it together.
Concur about Twin Perfect’s general charm. I found it disappointing that Josh and Jay found him smug or whatever.
