There’s no path to a satisfying conclusion at this point.

well that's unexpected. I've never watched TNG but i like patstew (me and everyone) and Discovery is the first series iv'e watched other that OT (i've seen all ST films otherwise) so i dunno. I am a bit split on Discovery though. Its ok but I don't love it. I know this because as this last season was ongoing I'd end up spending a month without watching any ep and then think oh yeah I should probably catch up on that and in fact i stil have to watch the last ep. It's not very good about making you care about the characters.
I must insist on being a pessimist, I'm a loner in a catastrophic mind

Frakes is directing some episodes so I very much hope we get at least a small dose of Riker doing Riker shit

for once I find myself hoping for maximum cynical tie-in merchandise strategy

I’d drink Chateu Picard exclusively

I don’t even care if it’s a mediocre wine

as long as they label it exactly as it appears in the show and they don’t put some stupid fucking blatant Star Trek branding all over it

so is this actually gonna be about picard's very chill post-retirement life or is that just gonna be a framing device for constant flashbacks to starfleet shit
