That's French for "fish regression," so think about that

Feeling tired and sore after my Moderna booster (yesterday at 4pm). Not as bad as the 2nd dose though.

Goddamit, this is supposed to be my last week at my teaching job but I got word that a student who was in on Monday tested positive Monday night so now we're completely shutdown. I've been working here for 9 years so now my big Halloween/goodbye party for the kids is off and I'm worried about getting COVID after avoiding it for so long. If I test positive then, at best, I have to start later than agreed upon for a tech job I'm already underqualified for and it puts me on terrible footing going forward.

my dad had an absolutely awful reaction to his booster shot, which is odd considering his first two doses were fine. he was nonstop vomiting and so lightheaded and weak he could barely walk and had to go to the ER. they gave him fluids and anti-nausea meds and he recovered right away and was discharged quickly but i was not expecting that.

48 hours since my third moderna shot and i can say i had barely any reaction. just a sore arm and a little anxiousness, which was probably just me waiting for the fever to come on. I had like an 8 hour fever after my second shot, but it never happened this time.

my 65 year old dad got a pfizer after two moderna's and he had a really strange jaw pain that held on for a few days but it went away.
