aw man I’ve been calling her Carla Ray, why didn’t anyone tell me??

TLT never clicked for me (sadly). if anything, i actually feel like it confirms detractors' criticisms of her not rly having a coherent aesthetic or being a main pop girl. it has a strong grab bag vibe IMO.
E•MO•TION is her opus.

Video of the song itself is dynamite, beautiful and shot/choreographed very well. The intro with Jane is…not. Would like a recut version of just the song so I don’t have to skip through.

She was incredible tonight. Couldn't believe what I was seeing. She played the best venue in Dublin she possibly could have and blew the roof off the place.
i'm seeing crj next month and am super excited! but after reading aubub's review i don't know what to make of it because on one hand he's saying it was really good but on the other hand he didn't like seeing autechre live so can his opinion be trusted?
there's something about the way she writes hooks really hits me in a way that most post-2000s female pop doesn't it sounds modern and flashy production-wise, but the songwriting feels more like something outta the 80s/90s like..Wilson Phillips etc, just real great multi-part hooks without any dumbing down, great pacing
My listening experience in balanced mode reveals the great depth of EARTH

Agree. I thought this really came through even stronger in the live show too.
I can’t say this enough… one of my literal favorite things about being alive is being able to listen to her and feel stuff
