A certain someone is mad at me that I opted to include his WWE theme rather than his NJPW theme. In the interest of fairness I'll post it here. It rules, for sure.

I'm a much bigger fan of the WWE theme personally, and I like his heel theme almost as much. The reality is that his entrance is all about...well...him. Huge sucker for a crowd singing along to an entrance too. Huge points for that. What a performer.

This song fucks. Another Adam Cole song that's basically just a Rage song, but hey, wrestling entrance history proves that doing a Rage song is a recipe for a classic. The people love it.

I also think theres a real argument for Shinsukes heel theme as the best of all of his music

Adam Cole's AEW theme > UE theme

Nakamura's theme was an instant classic. The NJPW was good too but if we're doing Japan, there's multiple unrepresented ones (Suzuki, Liger, etc) before I get to a 2nd Nak theme

Couldn't disagree more. Save for the beginning that everyone pops for I think the AEW theme stinks.

Where all my moodies at? I am an absolute mark for the Stinger and this to me will always be the best theme and the best version of Sting. There are plenty of options but I'm not sure any can hold a candle to this theme and how it perfectly captured everything he represented at the time.

WCW San Adreas. The Wolfpac theme is a nice little ode to 90's West Coast hip hop, which has always kind of been a theme with Nash/Hall/Waltman. Even though the Wolfpac came around when WCW was already on it's way down, the theme and the stable remain memorable.

The most recognizable entrance theme in wrestling history. An undeniable classic.

An underrated theme for one of the true unsung heroes of the Nitro era. Psycosis' theme is really cool, it has sort of an evil circus vibe and that funky bass line that carries the tone. I always liked how the song sounds a little unhinged, really evoking the spirit of the daredevil. It was hard as hell to find any video of his dang entrance. Cmon, WWE.

I don't know that there's ever been a wrestler who has had more variation of the same entrance theme than the Rock. Every single Rock theme has been some sort of riff on his original Nation of Domination theme. That bass line more or less stays in every one of the Rocks themes. Check out the progression here.

Anyway you slice it, the Rock's theme from his prime is one of the most recognizable themes in wrestling, hands down.
0:55 for a gigantic pop.

My pick for the best theme going in AEW right now. An homage to the Midnight Express theme and Giorgio Moroder in general, the Miami synth boy in me cannot get enough of this song.

Is it probably too much of a ripoff to even call it there theme? Maybe, who cares. The FTR version is better. They would have fit in so well as a tag team in the 80s and 90s (minus the roids) and you can tell that's kinda where they wish would be. This theme evokes rainy windshields, neon lights and endless highways. I'm a sucker for synth pop and holy smokes, did they pick a winner here. Best theme for the best team. Amen, brother.

The Rock's theme is, in fact, kinda bad and maybe the most underwhelming theme for a wrestler of his level of fame.

Easy choice.

If FTR were to lose, it would, in the parlance of many an announcer, a miscarriage of justice

The ftr theme is for sure awesome. Gives off some pet shop boys vibes I very much dig. If it wins (which it looks like it will) I could see it going far.

Man though I dont know. I voted rock for the immediate recognition. And in all fairness i didn't really think much of its earliest incarnations post-nation. I think i just appreciated how it started off super minimalist and then eventually over time it grew to be as large as the star himself. Layers and such. Building on a simple framework away from its more generic beginnings. The interspersing of catch phrases never bothered me all the while

This oughta be a good one. Icon versus Icon. The Heartbreak Kid versus the Hulkster. Two absolutely classic themes that have lasted the test of time. HBK handily beat a worthy opponent in Adam Page. Hogan absolutely wiped the floor with Psycosis. This one won't be nearly as easy.

Low key, Hogan has an intriguing mix of themes too: Eye of the Tiger, Real American, Voodoo Child (+ nWo)

The Hollywood Hogan entrance kinda ruled tbh

It was great and my favorite Hogan but would have been wrong to not do the Hulkster
